Every year during Ramadan, mosques in Malaysia distribute a beloved dish, bubur lambuk, along with other food, for free. Bubur lambuk – a sticky rice porridge with coconut milk – is traditionally served only during the fasting month. But this year, the cost of making it has doubled, and one mosque, Masjid India, had to cut down on how much of it they are distributing.
